“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one, wild and precious life?”

We have successfully organised the first "One Wild Life" training course in Switzerland with the support of the transitional solution for the Erasmus+ funded by the Swiss Confederation and the Foundation CH.
The training course, involving eleven organisations from Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Slovenia, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Romania, Czech Republic, Norway, Germany and Switzerland, took place in Switzerland in the Jura canton in the village of Essertfallon from the 25th of March to the 3rd of April 2016.
The project put together 24 youth workers to acquire and exchange innovative, creative and diverse non-formal educational tools and methodologies to support young people to find their authentic vocation and to develop their sense of initiative and entrepreneurship.
This group of fearless peers travelled together on the magic carpet of stories, intensive times in nature, sharing, discussing and discovering what was going on outside in the world and inside their minds, bodies and souls.
They also came to realise that thinking about and addressing the issues of “outside” and “inside” were actually inseparable. They shared an adventure to discover what is going (wr)on(g) in the world at the present moment, the burning local and global issues as well as existing small, middle and large scale solutions and alternatives.
They got inspired to ask questions to themselves as well as to young people such as:
What is my Gift and how can I bring it into the world? What wants to emerge through me into the world? How is my personal path embedded in the larger story of our times?
And last, but not least, they explored different tools and ideas, which can support young people in the process of unfolding their Gifts, getting their dreams off the ground, bridging the gap between the personal and the political, acting on their true values and deepest calling.
Do you have the courage to come along?
Are you ready to take the future in your hands?
If yes, let´s go!
This training course is part of a bigger project called The heArt of Change, which created a book, a game and a course curriculum about the same topics.
