Don't Worry, Be Permie!
Don’t Worry, Be Permie! is a youth exchange involving 20 participants from Switzerland, Italy, France and the Netherlands and takes place from the 22nd of May to 4th of June 2015 at Masseselin, one bio and permacultural farm in the Jura canton (Switzerland).
Don’t Worry, Be Permie! looks like a 72 hours Permaculture Design Course where you can discover the Permaculture basics, the ethics and the principles, as well as the relationships and synergies among the disciplines that Permaculture connects in order to design environmentally sustainable farms, gardens, buildings and communities. In other words it is a way to gain valuable thinking tools that help you become more resilient in an era of change.
The learning journey is enriched with non-formal education, a dynamic and flexible approach to make the activities engaging, playful, and based on experiential learning. Active participation is balanced with meaningful reflection, synthesis, and application.
Sharing a common space for 2 weeks with an international group is also a great chance to live and enjoy community, cooking together, collecting delicious food from the garden, and playing and singing around the fire.
The project is partly granted by the transitional solution for the Erasmus+ by the Swiss Confederation
