Please book your travel tickets by the 10th of October!
And then send them to us by the same date!
TIMELINE of the project: Arrival date: 02 November 2018 (before 8 p.m. in the evening if possible so we can have dinner together)
Departure date: 12 November 2018 (it's really the travelling date, you can depart when you want on this very day as long as there are buses departing)
We ask you please to respect these dates of arrival and departure, if you really need to arrive before and leave a bit later please send us an email at email@example.com and we will let you know what is possible. To be able to attend the event from the beginning to the end is one of the basic conditions for participation so please arrange your travel in order to attend the course in its whole duration.
By train: The website of the Swiss railways is very useful and complete so I ask you to check your travel by train from there: www.sbb.ch (that’s the German version of the site but you can change it to French, Italian or English). You can really check the entire trip from your departure station to Essertfallon. The cheapest and the easiest way to reach Essertfallon is to reach Basel or Bern or Bienne and then continue to Delemont, St. Ursanne and finally with a bus directly to Essertfallon.
To get cheaper train tickets once Switzerland try the following procedure: In the english version of the website (www.sbb.ch) go to Travel cards & tickets, once there go to Supersaver tickets and when you click "buy" it should give you the cheapest possibilities to get here… it often works two weeks before your travel date! And it works especially if you buy it for your "Swiss part of the travel". So for example you arrive in Zurich or Basel and you will try to buy a supersaver ticket from Zurich or Basel to St. Ursanne or Delemont! We ask you please to travel as much as possible by train, bus, feet, horse… but if you really really have to fly and there is no other possibility, here’s how to get to Essertfallon via plane!
By plane: The nearest airport to Essertfallon is Basel – Mulhouse Airport . Of course you can arrive also in Zurich Airport or Geneva Airport but it’s further away and becomes a more expensive and a longer journey via train. In this case really try the supersaver ticket experience :) You can find easy connections with Easyjet, which flies in Basel, and Geneva from all over European countries. From Basel Airport it’s a 20 minutes bus drive to Basel SBB train station (buses to train station are departing every five minutes, it’s very well served and easy). From Basel train station you can take directly a train to St. Ursanne. Once in St. Ursanne you will take a bus to Essertfallon (please check track numbers and timetable at www.sbb.ch).
If you land in Geneva Airport the train station is directly in the Airport and you take a train direction Yverdon-Le-Bains, Neuchatel, Biel/Bienne, St.Ursanne and finally Essertfallon.

Who can participate to Dive Deep
The organiser of “Dive Deep” KA1 Erasmus+ youth exchange is the association “Les Coccinelles” from Switzerland. The participants may have any nationality but are resident in one of the partner countries. The Movetia foundation who sponsors the course says: “An important criteria for Youth in Action projects is active citizenship. That’s why the nationality of a participant is not important. We only care about the place of residence. For example: if a Portuguese participant lives in Paris, we consider her/him as French. Thus, this person is not eligible and we cannot refund the travel costs or the project costs for this person if he/she takes part as Portuguese participant.” To determine where you are from, residence is the countingfactor, not nationality. This means that we can support the participation of somebody living in Portugal, or Finland or Germany as long as they travel TO or FROM the country, no matter what nationality is shown on their passport. Please don't ask for exceptions ("I live in Argentina and I have an Italian passport. Can I participate?"). These are the rules and we cannot change them.
